A breath of fresh, brimstone-scented air

Finally, something that kicks ass instead of looking like it came out of one. I must thank you for not using stick figures, speakonia, sprites, or lousy gradients. I am totally looking forward to the next chapter, I wanna find out what's up with the winged dude. Keep rockin' out those gems!

lvl4l2C responds:

haha, thanks man.

That was pointless.

First of all, the description section is there to describe it to your viewers, the whole point being so that they don't HAVE to waste time researching something. Not that anyone is really going to care once this gets blammed. Practice more, but don't submit your practice flashes. Eventually you might come up with something decent. Don't know what decent is? Go research it.

datalite-9 responds:

*Ahem*

Apparently you don't have the attention span to make it to the "This could take hours" part of the description.

In closing; go fuck yourself.

Thank-you for your time.

I smell a new Front Page contender

This was truly remarkable work. As I'm just learning to use Flash and it's companions myself, I can appreciate the amount of time and effort you have obviously put into creating this. The models looked like they took a lot of pain to produce, but totally worth it, they're beautiful. I love how you presented the Protoss, especially the voices, and the Zerg models and animation were breathtaking. My compliments on a job well done, and hopes to someday learn the ropes of Flash as well as you have.

LogFish responds:

Thanks a lot! :) Glad you enjoyed it - it did take quite some time, as they do! Just keep at it - my progression is clear in the episodes of this series heh - practice makes perfect!

This was awesome

A great Tribute to Tribute, the synch was right on and the style of displaying the lyrics was really cool. I also appreciate the fact you didn't compress the life out of the music so that it sounded like it was playing through a tin can. I like a Flash where I can crank up the speakers and not be aurally assaulted by static and noise artifacts. Great work!

MajinPiccolo responds:

Yeah, I hate compressed songs in flashes as well. Drives me crazy

Hah, I've seen better, but I've also seen worse

This isn't too bad, and at least you're practicing Flash, instead of saying "i kno thiz sux but dont blamit plz itz my first flashs" on a lame attempt to get onto Newgrounds. It's good to see someone who appreciates the value of effort, not to mention corny jokes (Wow, it's so magical that it jumps into your hand!) Good way to cover lack of animation and get a few laughs out of it =P Good job

Bacteriophage responds:

Thank you!

Haha, this was great

If you've ever heard of Knox, you know that on most of his stuff, the only thing he uses flash for is to compile his stop motion video and dub sound to it, and he's one of the most celebrated artists on Newgrounds (at least, he is in my eyes) So you did real good with this, You had a sense of style, you were certainly creative, you showed effort which shone throughout the whole piece, you have a good sense of humour, you did great with the sound timing, and you didn't use an extremely low video compression, which while it makes for a large file size and a short movie, also makes it look better. Great work, and like others before me, the only suggestion I have is to make it a bit longer.

ReleX responds:

Tnx for the constuctive critisism! :D
ps: Its length has to do with the school assignment. It had to be MAX 33 sec :D
great review tanx!

Certainly interesting

Frame animation is a very difficult thing, so I admire your patience, as well as taking the advice of previous reviews and not just backtalking the reviewers. It certainly made for a better animation, however people won't just be satisfied with a few seconds of something good, we'll call it the appetizer, they want a whole meal. Catch my drift? Great work on what you have so far, please do extend it if this entry doesn't make it. I'm gonna try to protect it however, so best of luck.

drag-5 responds:

Thank you very much! :)
I'm really having a good time submitting my work. I am geting some really excellent feedback. I really appreciate it and it helps me a great deal. I understand what you mean about the appetizer and the meal! I started preparing the meal about 6 days ago. this was done during a breather.

That creepy j-pop makes me angry too

Short but very sweet, and your frame-by-frame was seamless, I like a person who doesn't rely on tweens 100 percent. It gets the message across very clear, and if I may, I would like to interpret this as "Hey everyone out there who's happy and smiley, the world isn't that great right now, so stop with your creepy giggly crap and get real." Good work, and I'd like to see something more, just for the sake of being able to enjoy a few bites of popcorn. =P This gets a 5 and a 10, keep it up!

DYNAKYRIS responds:

Thanks for an awesome review.

Actually, I love music like that, that's why I thought it would be a perfect 'annoying' song to back up Red's rising anger.

This is certainly something different

Not having played any of the worms games, I'm surely missing out on a lot, but from what I did see, this was a good movie. The art and animation were good, and didn't seem like they were rushed, or ripped from source photos, or sprites (Not that all sprite movies are bad) And the humour was something you should be proud of. Being able to make people laugh without resorting to jokes involving homosexuality or race or any of that controversial stuff is a true skill in this day and age. Good work =)

Justniv responds:

wow thanks man, I didnt think that anybody will laugh from it :)
thanks for the review

Half diggin' it, half not

I do like your artwork, some sequences in this movie look like they took a good bit of your free time to get just right, and the background music was alright. I felt like there was more to be had, just because everything went by so fast, and I was unable to discern one movie from the next. That may also be because I have just woken up =P My suggestion is that you shouldn't leave your audience wanting -too- much more, in the sense that they feel like they missed the whole movie. It's always good if your movie is a big hit and they want more of it, however. I personally liked the artwork in the sequence where the knife blade was being tightened. Most artists would use swift3d instead of hand drawing, so I will congratulate you on that. For a portal rating, I gave you a 2, because while it shows effort, it also had the potential to be so much more.

MrBigStick responds:

because when you got an invisible dick, the whole world is your bukkake bitch.

I am a Newgrounds Police Officer. It is my sworn duty to protect the 1337 and to pwn the shitty. Beware, crappy Flash entries... I'm after you.
